What you’ll do:

• Make and serve coffee, tea and other specialty beverages.
• Provide warm greetings and quality service to customers for gelato, chocolates and/or pastries.
• Ensure accuracy when operating the POS (point of sale) register.
• Pay attention to detail when stocking and cleaning.

Other job details:

• This is part-time position, 5-25 hours per week.
• Base pay = $17.00 to $19.50 per hour, based on experience.
• Cash and credit card tips are shared with team members and average $5.00 to $6.00 per hour.
• Team members be scheduled at our Westlake Village location at 30760 Russell Ranch Road Suite A, Westlake Village, CA 91362 or our Agoura Hills location at 28888 Roadside Drive, Agoura Hills CA 91301.

What we expect:

• Some prior barista and/or food service experience.
• Ability to arrive to work on time for all scheduled shifts.
• Ability to accurately describe menu items to customers including but not limited to ingredients, allergens, complementary flavors, and pricing.
• Ability to problem solve and find solutions to challenging questions, requests and/or interactions.
• Ability to stand for the duration of scheduled work time.
• Ability to move and walk for the duration of scheduled work time, with full use of hands and wrists.
• Ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of 25 lbs. multiple times during scheduled shifts.
