Delta is currently seeking a Yacht/Ship Painter. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Our Yacht Painters prepare metal and fiberglass surfaces and apply marine coatings. Your typical work process will include coating and shaping hulls with surfacing filler, sanding these surfaces to the correct shape, and applying marine coatings. Projects will include yacht hulls, superstructures, and various other yacht components.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To succeed, you will be eager to grow and learn, have a great attitude, and be able to pay close attention to detail.
- Successful candidate will have 10+ years of experience conducting paint work on high end custom yachts and/or 20+ years of experience paining other marine vessels.
- Must have experience using essential tools such as tape measure and level.
- Must be able to wear a respirator for prolonged periods.
- Must be comfortable working from lifts or on scaffolding.
We will consider a wide range of experience and adjust the compensation and duties accordingly, pay rate between $28 and $41 depending on experience.
