Spherion is working with a metal building construction company located in Jefferson, WI on a Structural Steel Design Engineer opportunity! Come design your future with us!



Highlights :

• Direct Hire!
• $90-$120k, bonus eligible as well
• Benefits: Health insurance, paid time off and Holidays, 401k
• Schedule: Flexible schedule with core hours of 9:30am- 3pm, Monday- Friday
• Jefferson, WI- may allow for Hybrid flexibility after 3 months of employment

Responsibilities:

• Design buildings and components utilizing programs and engineering standards and practices
• Update design programs with changing building codes to keep up with compliance
• Assist Estimators as needed for special steel requirements or estimates if workload dictates

Qualifications :

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural design and analysis
• 5+ years experience in structural design
• Experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, or RISA preferred
• Preference for experience in metal buildings work
