We are looking for a Solution Architect Data Platforms with strong experience in financial risk data systems. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms to support risk analytics, reporting, and compliance in a financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement data platform architectures (data lake, data warehouse, data mesh, or lakehouse).
Work closely with risk management, finance, and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Define data ingestion, transformation, and integration strategies using cloud-native and open-source technologies.
Ensure compliance with data governance, lineage, and security standards.
Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to implement CI/CD, monitoring, and automation for data workflows.
Provide architectural guidance on scalability, performance, and reliability of data systems.
Required Skills:
Strong experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering.
Hands-on with cloud platforms AWS (S3, Glue, Redshift), Azure (Synapse, ADF, Databricks), or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow).
Expertise with big data frameworks Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or Databricks.
Strong SQL and Python or Scala programming skills.
Experience with data modeling, metadata management, and data governance.
Exposure to financial risk data domains (credit, market, or liquidity risk).
Understanding of regulatory frameworks (Basel III, CCAR, IFRS9) is a plus.
