Your Role: Pioneering Data-Driven Marketing Strategies
In this fully remote role, you'll be at the forefront of expanding and diversifying our direct marketing portfolio. Your success will be measured by your ability to rapidly prototype, test, and implement new mid-to-upper funnel channels and marketing strategies. You'll design and execute impactful targeting models and A/B tests, and effectively communicate your findings to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Innovation: Expand and diversify our direct marketing portfolio by shepherding new mid-upper funnel channels from R&D to production.
Rapid Prototyping: Quickly prototype, test, and iterate on novel marketing strategies in the mid and upper funnel.
A/B Testing Mastery: Design time and cost-efficient A/B tests to rigorously measure the incremental profit impact of marketing campaigns.
Insightful Communication: Deliver clear and prompt communication of research results that drive action to leaders and stakeholders.
Data Pipeline Development: Build data science pipelines to quickly iterate on research ideas and put them into production.
End-to-End Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of new channels and marketing approaches, continuously improving quantitative solutions.
What We're Looking For:
Mid-Upper Funnel Marketing Expertise: Proven experience developing targeted, data-driven marketing strategies and deploying them on DSPs such as The Trade Desk, DV360, or Meta.
Machine Learning Modeling: Experience creating and deploying machine learning targeting models for social, video, display, and/or email campaigns.
A/B Testing Proficiency: Experience designing and implementing A/B tests to measure the incremental lift of new campaigns.
Technical Prowess: Advanced programming skills with Python or R, expertise in databases and SQL, and familiarity with version control (Git).
Cloud Platform Experience: Experience with AWS (or similar) utilities, e.g., EC2, SageMaker, S3, Athena.
Business Intelligence and Visualization: Strong business intelligence and visualization skills, with the ability to communicate insights to diverse audiences.
Ownership Mentality: Takes initiative to identify, champion, and execute high-impact work.
Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to consider problems from first principles and use expertise to guide solutions.
Educational Background: Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline (PhD preferred) and 3+ years of applying advanced quantitative techniques in industry.
