Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a leading Company located in the Colorado Springs, CO surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $63

**US Citizenship is required.**

Responsibilities:

• Architecting and integrating commercial applications with component processes and operations
• Influencing technical direction and strategy to maximize long-term outcomes
• Architecting solutions and making high-level design decisions assessing relevant trade-offs
• Integrating new and existing applications, ensuring platforms work together seamlessly
• Providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers
• Working as a team player in an Agile environment to deliver software solutions
• Working effectively with other developers, project managers, subject matter experts, clients, and other stakeholders
• Leading technical planning, estimation, and resource allocation
• Reviewing and approving code changes, ensuring high standards and best practice
• Delivering high-quality software while applying best practices
• Coordinating with different teams, as needed, to ensure project alignment

Basic Hiring Criteria:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; a combination of education and professional experience can be considered
• Minimum 6 years of professional full-stack experience

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience building JS web-based interfaces
• Mastery in TypeScript (TS) and JavaScript (JS)
• Experience deploying to production JS/TS projects using React.js, and Node
• Advanced knowledge of databases and data architecture; both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis)
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including API development and integration, data modeling, etc
• Deep experience with Express.js building RESTful APIs with Node.js
• Familiarity with Material UI
• Knowledge and experience implementing API security and authentication, including OAuth
• Deep understanding and competency with: git, cloud environments, test automation, deployment infrastructure, system architecture, and design patterns (e.g. MVC, MVVM, etc)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience leading development efforts from the ground up
• Demonstrable experience architecting full-stack solutions, considering customer needs and future demands
• Experience working with DAF-accredited IaaS systems
• Development experience with the DoD or commercial space operations is a plus
• Experience with or knowledge of the Global Data Marketplace is preferred
• Familiarity with DAF software factories including Space CAMP is a plus
