Job Description

Are you passionate about helping students succeed in SAT Math? Do you enjoy developing innovative learning materials and making complex concepts easy to understand? If so, we'd love to have you on board!

About This Role
As part of the SAT team, you'll start by designing engaging and effective test prep materials for SAT Math. Once the Summer Semester begins in May, you'll transition into teaching, guiding students through SAT Math concepts in both group and one-on-one settings.

What You'll Do
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with SAT Math topics and learning objectives.
Create engaging classroom activities, problem-solving exercises, and practice tests to strengthen students' skills.
Use interactive teaching methods, including discussions, multimedia presentations, and real-world examples, to enhance understanding.
Provide clear explanations, guidance, and strategies to help students approach challenging questions with confidence.
Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and assignments, offering constructive feedback to support improvement.
Assist with class preparation, grading, and communication with students and parents to ensure a supportive learning experience.

What We're Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Experience: Prior experience in SAT tutoring or teaching is preferred.
Expertise: Strong understanding of the new digital SAT format, including exam requirements and question types.
Availability: Weekend availability is required.
Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with a passion for helping students succeed.

Curriculum Development: $30/hour
Teaching Fee: $30-$40/hour (3-7 classes per week)
Non-Teaching Tasks (prep, grading, communication): $16-$20/hour
Student Retention Bonus: Up to 15% of total teaching fees for long-term classes
