• Facility: Texas Health Denton (THDN)
• $40.00 – $42.00 per hour ( Travel Rates Available)
• Days – 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• 13-Week Contract | Weekends & Holidays as Needed

About the Role:

Texas Health Denton is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Maternal Newborn (Mother Baby) unit.
This role provides high-quality, family-centered care to postpartum mothers and newborns in a collaborative, supportive hospital environment.
The ideal candidate is experienced in postpartum and newborn care, demonstrates excellent clinical judgment, and thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care for postpartum mothers and newborn infants.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions accurately and timely.
• Educate and support new mothers in postpartum recovery and newborn care.
• Administer medications and assist with pain management and breastfeeding support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control procedures.
• Float as needed to other maternal or newborn units with similar patient populations.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas – Required
• Minimum 2 years of current Mother Baby (M/B) experience – Required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – Required
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification – Required
• Ability and willingness to float to similar units as needed

Schedule:

• 12-hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Weekends and holidays are required as scheduled
• 13-week contract starting September 29, 2025

Pay & Benefits:

• $40.00 – $42.00 per hour (based on experience)
• Travel stipends are available
• Weekly pay
