Position Overview
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and leading the maintenance department in a food processing facility. This role involves ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance and experience in the food manufacturing sector.



Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance strategies to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and support as needed.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Manage maintenance budgets and oversee cost containment initiatives.
• Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for maintenance services and parts.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 2 years of relevant experience (or a mix of education and experience)
• Valid driver's license

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
