About the Governor's Office:
The Governor's Office facilitates the daily management of state government. The office works closely with other state branches and entities to develop legislation, policies, and rules that govern the state.
About the Internship:
The summer internship program allows participants to work with state agency officials and participate in co-curricular components to enrich their experiences. Interns spend at least 50 percent of their time on predetermined projects that enhance college-level skills and abilities. The co-curricular components of the program ensure competitive, reputable, and inclusive experiential learning.
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented undergraduate or graduate interns to support the work of the Governor's Office. You will rotate among the Operations, Communications, Legal, and Legislative teams. You will participate in projects to enhance the outreach and engagement initiatives of the various teams. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about governmental project lifecycles from start to finish.

Salary :
The hourly rate for this position is $16.24 per hour for those enrolled in undergraduate programs and $17.24 per hour for those with an earned bachelor's.

This position is located in the Indiana State House in Downtown Indianapolis.
