Job Description

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Director of eCommerce to lead our online sales strategies and drive growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the entire eCommerce division, leveraging data analytics and market insights to enhance our online presence and optimize customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the eCommerce strategy to achieve revenue and profitability targets.

  • Manage all aspects of the eCommerce platform, including website design, functionality, and user experience.

  • Analyze website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and drive conversions.

  • Collaborate with marketing, IT, and sales teams to align eCommerce initiatives with overall business objectives.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing eCommerce team.

  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to enhance eCommerce capabilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce management or digital marketing, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth.

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and customer experience optimization.

  • Exceptional analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making.

  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

  • Experience in the executive search or recruitment industry is a plus.
