Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid minimum 2 days/week onsite)

Salary Range: $112,000 $168,000 annually
Bonus: Annual performance-based bonus

Grant Thornton LLP is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join their Chicago office. This is a backfill role ideal for experienced tax professionals looking for significant career growth, exposure to diverse industries, and strong collaboration across corporate tax teams nationwide.
Must-Have QualificationsCorporate tax & tax provision experience (ASC 740) within the last 1 3 years
Current Manager title in a public accounting firm
Active CPA license (Illinois or reciprocity) JD/active law license also acceptable
Public accounting experience with a Top 15 firm
Experience supporting large, multi-state, national, or global corporate tax clients
Ability to work minimum 2 days/week onsite in Chicago (hybrid)
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
4 7 years of progressive tax compliance and/or tax consulting experience
Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes
Advanced knowledge of US GAAP , corporate income tax laws, and regulations
Strong analytical, technical, and tax technology skills
Experience in public accounting
Experience with OneSource Tax Provision
Working knowledge of:
State & local income tax
International taxation
Transfer pricing
