Job Description

The Cloud Case Specialist will play a vital role in managing the customer onboarding process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transition. This position requires a balance of administrative and technical skills, with a focus on streamlining processes, reducing friction, and enhancing the overall experience for customers. The ideal candidate should possess an understanding of cloud environments, network architecture, and U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) operational procedures.

You Will:

  • Oversee and manage customer onboarding to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Perform administrative duties related to customer documentation, communication, and process tracking.
  • Identify and resolve friction points in the onboarding process, optimizing workflows and procedures.
  • Assist customers with limited cloud knowledge, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work closely with network architects and technical teams to ensure integration and compatibility with existing systems.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and recommending solutions.
  • Gain an understanding of USCG processes and how different components interact within the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

You Have:

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Ability to streamline and improve processes with minimal disruption.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies and network architecture (preferred).
  • Semi-technical background with the ability to grasp technical concepts.
  • Experience in customer service or case management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of USCG processes or willingness to learn how they function.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to navigate complex environments.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a case management, customer support, or IT service-related role.
  • Some experience or certification in cloud computing (AWS, Azure, or similar platforms).
  • Experience working within government or military environments, particularly with USCG.
