General Summary:
This position will assist the Principal Investigator (PI) in planning and implementing clinical research studies as assigned. Our Tufts Alzheimer's Research Program (TARP) conducts innovative, multidisciplinary research focused on improving the lives of individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias. Our research portfolio spans federally funded (NIH) grants, foundation-supported initiatives, and industry-sponsored clinical trials, reflecting a robust and collaborative approach to advancing the field. Integrated within the Tufts Medicine Memory Care Center, our team bridges clinical care and research to accelerate the development and evaluation of novel therapeutics. Our studies explore a range of topics including the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, disease-modifying therapies, and emerging interventions aimed at enhancing cognitive, emotional, and functional outcomes for patients and their caregivers. We also study the implementation of dementia care pathways and models of care aimed at streamlining screening, assessment, diagnosis and referral to treatment within primary care medical settings. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. May require the following proficiency: work is closely supervised, problems faced are not typically difficult or complex, and explains facts, policies and practices related to job area. Bachelor's degree OR High School Diploma or equivalent AND Four (4) years of related experience. 2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification may be required based on specific role requirements. 3.
